CHILDREN'S SUNDAY SCHOOL
Hi Boys and Girls,

It's a great day to study God's Word.
Have you ever been given a big job to do? Perhaps it was something that you had never done before or it was hard and you didn't think you could do it. What did you do? Have you ever been asked to be a leader? A leader is someone who leads or guides; someone who other people will follow.
Today, we are introduced to a man named Joshua. After Moses died, God chose Joshua as leader of the Israelites (God's chosen people). Joshua was given a big assignment to do, lead the people to the promised land.
Let's study God's Word, the Bible to find out what happened.

Have a blessed week.

Think about It

1. What did the Lord promise Joshua as he prepared to enter the promised land?

2. What was Joshua to do to receive help from the Lord?

3. Joshua was asked to be strong and courageous 4 times. Why do you think he would need to be strong and courageous?

4. Why do we need to be strong and courageous today?

LET US PRAY
Dear God,
Thank you for the Bible so that I can learn more about you and what you would have me to do. Please help me to obey. I know that I can be strong and courageous because you are with me.
Thank you. In Jesus’ name,
Amen
