Today we will continue the story of Joshua. Remember from last week's lesson, the children of Israel had crossed the Jordan river and are now in the promised land. Our lesson will focus on how God gave Joshua and the Israelites the victory over Jericho.

Jericho was a heavily guarded city with strong walls and the Israelites thought it would be impossible to take over the city. But with God’s help they brought down the walls without a fight! This story shows us God’s great power. As children of God, we always win when He fights our battles. We need to listen to and follow God’s instructions.
