Did you receive your student supply list from school yet? It contains a list of items the teachers want you to bring to school. These supplies will be used for Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies and other classes. Today we will learn how these supplies can also remind you of your faith each time you use them.

Think about It

Here are some ways school supplies may remind you of your faith.
​
BACKPACK - You carry God's Word with you in your heart.
"Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I may not sin against You." Psalm 119:11
​
PAPER & PENCIL - You can write out Bible verses to remind you of God's love.
"Bind them on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart."
Proverbs 7:3
​
ERASER - God's forgiveness erases your sins.
"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." Ephesians 4:32
​
BOOKS - God's Word, the Bible is the most important book we have.
"All Scripture is given by God." 2 Timothy 3:16a
​
TEACHER - Our teachers in school guide our learning just like teachers at church (Sunday School teachers, Pastor and Children's Church Leaders) guide our understanding of what the Bible says.
"The Lord says, "I will teach you and guide you in the way you should live. I will watch over you and be your guide." Psalm 32:8

Dear Lord,
Thank you for showing me how I can be reminded of my faith even at school. I am glad that you are with me everywhere I go. Please keep me safe and healthy as I return to school.
